Class Expectations:

  • Be respectful to all,people , their opinions, and their materials.

  • Be PREPARED-always.

  • Work SMARTER,not Harder.

  • Food and drinks are not allowed in the classroom,with exceptions to bottled water.

 

GRADING:

  100-90%    A          80-89%  B             70-79%  C        60-69%   D                  below 60%    Fail

 

Materials:                Failure to be prepared for class will result in detention.

   * Notebook   with lined paper -   spiral   . this will be your writing journal.

   *Pencil/ pen/ writing tool    

   *Reading counts book and required text

   *  Homework

    *  Textbook will be issued each class period.  When you are expected to use it for homework,       you will need to use the text checkout procedure.

 

 

Assignments:

All assignments are due the following class period at the begin of the hour unless otherwise instructed.  Late assignments need to be communicated each time, by the student and the teacher.  

Projects:  Rubric of each project will be provided.  Multisensory activities can be selected.

 

Make- up Work:

When you are absent, you will have to communicate verbally with the teacher to gain the appropriate materials needed .  Each task missed will be re-taught during Seminar, so you will need your agenda signed to report for the lesson to be re-taught.   I encourage you to gather your materials before absences if you know that you will be absent.

 

Hall Passes:

 You will not be allowed to go to your locker during Teacher lecture of class time. Since passing period is 5 minutes,  you will have plenty of time .  Restroom passes will only be allowed for emergency.   Privileges can be taken away at any time for misuse of restroom visits.  You must attain a signature from the teacher before leaving the room.
