Class Expectations:

• Be respectful to all,people , their opinions, and their materials.

• Be PREPARED-always.

• Work SMARTER,not Harder.

• Food and drinks are not allowed in the classroom,with exceptions to bottled water.

 

GRADING:

  100-90%    A          80-89%  B             70-79%  C        60-69%   D                  below 60%    Fail

 

Materials:                Failure to be prepared for class will result in detention.

   * Notebook   with lined paper -   spiral 

   *Pencil/ pen/ writing tool    

   *AR Reading book and required text

   *  Homework

   * Work from other courses to complete during classtime.

 

DAILY   AGENDA    

You will be required to complete a daily agenda.  This is your schedule of events as well as your weekly and quarterly plan for what tasks you need to carry out.   This agenda may be electronic, paper, or a agenda book .    A review of the announcements is part of your agenda use.

 

 

DAILY  Study Skill

   There will be a Study skill Lesson and practice or an assignment.

Practice activities may include role play, video lessons, or oganizing space tasks.

Assignments are due the following class period at the begin of the hour unless otherwise instructed.  Late assignments need to be communicated each time, by the student and the teacher.  

Projects:  Rubric of each project will be provided.  Multisensory activities can be selected.

 

 

STUDY TIME

You will be given ample time for working on other course tasks and assignments.  Be prepared by bring all of the required materials from that class that you will need to work on your independent tasks.

 

 

Make- up Work from other courses.   If you need to communicate with other teachers, you will be given a limited amount of acces to do that during your study skill class period.

When you are absent, you will have to communicate verbally with the teacher to gain the appropriate materials needed .  Each task missed will be re-taught during Seminar, so you will need your agenda signed to report for the lesson to be re-taught.   I encourage you to gather your materials before absences if you know that you will be absent.

 

Hall Passes:

 You will not be allowed to go to your locker during Teacher lecture of class time. Since passing period is 5 minutes,  you will have plenty of time .    Privileges can be taken away at any time for misuse of restroom visits.  You must follow the sign out procedure.
